We believe in using natural products, ingredients and remedies wherever possible. Unfortunately, most pre-packed dog treats available contain too many additives, preservatives, salt & sugar and most are very fattening.

We researched many aspects of nutritional health in dogs and found that there are a multitude of benefits to be had simply by eliminating certain things from a dogs diet and replacing them with natural ingredients.
A Message from 'Happy Hound' Owner
As a dog owner, City & Guilds qualified groomer, dog trainer/behaviourist I come accross many doggy ailments, allergies, hygiene issues, behaviour problems etc. One thing I do believe (backed up by research, scientists, vets and pet care professionals all over the world) is that many common dog problems - be they physical or mental - can be affected in some way or another by your dog’s diet and in many cases, a simple adjustment in diet can make massive improvements.
For example, many dog owners complain to me of their dog's ‘bad breath’. They can’t be expected to keep brushing their dog's teeth all of the time. Simple ingredients like parsley and mint in our Minty Fresh dog bones can help with this problem.
All of our home-made dog biscuits are tried-and-tested by my wonderful eat-anything Golden Retriever "Beckham" and my very fussy michelin-star food-critic "Suki", my Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both have long since given their seal of approval.
